Kristine Nore

Senior researcher, PhD

I have worked at Treteknisk (Norwegian institute of Wood Technology) for the last 7 years. My education is a Master of Science in design of timber structures at the Norwegian University of Lifesciences (NMBU) at Ås outside Oslo and a PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim within the field of building physics. I had a 1 ½ year at a CLT production, Moelven massivtre, after my PhD. Now I mainly work with building physics; regarding the impact of wood on indoor climate. Wood can be and active material in acclimating indoor environments!
