Robert Schmitz

Architect

Robert Schmitz, architect MSA and partner at White Arkitekter, born 1979, has a long experience in complex design projects with an emphasis on commercial civic projects, cultural buildings, hotels and offices. Robert is named Stockholm Director of Competitions and is part of the Strategic Office Management. Robert has won many prestigious architectural competitions including the new design for Täby City Hall, for which he received an IDEA gold medal award in Los Angeles 2017; The New Head Office for SE-Bank and most recently the internationally acclaimed competition about Skellefteå Cultural Centre, becoming one of the tallest timber high rises in the world 2020.

Education: School of Architecture, University of Newcastle, New South Wales Australia (2001-2001), Master of Architecture, Chalmers Tekniska Högskola (1998-2005).
